We had to burn the tyres
What a night. I read some time ago about a guy who was forced to burn his car because he was stuck in the middle of nowhere in winter. He had to keep the temperature of his body high so he decided to burn his car. He survived but he lost his car. Anyway I was laughing when I read about it but now I must say that something similar happened to me. Me and my family were spending winter holidays in our wooden house. It is situated in the middle of the forest, well it is a middle of nowhere. It is one of those moments when you are as close to the nature as possible. The scent of the wood and wild animals all around you. I really like those kind of things. But my wife does not. That is why she forced me to install electrical heating system there. She has no romantic soul and wood in the fireplace was for her something unpleasant. She prefers those modern ways and I agreed for this one. And because of that when we were left without electricity for four days due to heavy snow falls we were left with only few wooden blocks and after that we had to burn everything we had. And we burned furniture and at the very end the tyres from my car. We were suck in there and we had to wait till the weather would change. Everything ended good but as I said I burnt tyres from my car. Now it sounds funny but believe me, back then it was not.
