What I found in my bathroom cabinet
I got home early today. It was five or six in the morning, but my wife had already left. She"s a surgeon and she often works long hours, sometimes even more than twelve hours a day. I actually returned home earlier than expected. I had said I would be back on Friday, and it"s Wednesday. The business trip was supposed to be a bit longer, but it turned out they didn"t need me that much there. Anyway, I got home today, made myself a cup of coffee and then went to the bathroom to have a long, hot shower. I opened our bathroom cabinet and started looking for a painkiller. I had a horrible headache. I began rummaging inside the cabinet and couldn"t find what I was so desperately looking for, but after a minute or two something else caught my eye. It was a small box which contained some kind of a drug. The label meant nothing to me but it was definitely not an over-the-counter medicine. I found the answer inside the box. It was a medicine against asthma. I closed the bathroom cabinet and started thinking intensively. Why didn"t she tell me she was ill? Or was it somebody else"s medicine? Well, I still don"t know because it"s nine in the evening and my wife still hasn"t returned home. She doesn"t answer my phone calls. I wonder where she is and what she is doing.
